There are stories that are daring, crazy and adventurous, those of uncomfortable journeys, in more or less remote places and by more or less makeshift means.

There are stories that are chains of unexpected encounters, leading where one did not know they could go.

There are stories of people holding hands to escape the madness of a world that seems to turn in a direction that is not that of universal love, cooperation and participation, but that of prevarication, injustice and oppression.

Then, there are the protagonists of these stories who proudly affirm, “I still believe that it is possible to get justice from this world. Under one condition, namely collective work.
We can get justice if we all work together and if everybody gives us support for it.”

In the most rocambolic way possible.

On July 2024 I spent long time in the Indian State of Punjab , where I had close encounters with many farmers and agriculture workers and labourers.

This experience among farmers and peasants made me get to know various aspects about Punjab situation and the conditions of the farmers. I traveled from farm to farm, among organic farmers that are part of the organization Kheti Virasat Mission (KVM).

KVM, founded by the journalist Umendra Dutt in 2005, deals with the dissemination of organic and natural farming principles in Punjab…

On May 25, 2024, India faced the sixth round of national elections for the lower house, the Lok Sabah. With this last date, 486 constituencies across the country voted, out of 543 total districts.

The State of Jammu and Kashmir faced its fifth and final appointment. Kashmir, with its uniqueness, is a peculiar observation point that makes an important contribution to the understanding of what is happening in the rest of the country.

I wrote about the Bhopal Gas Tragedy in an article published by Il Fatto Quotidiano, an Italian newspaper, in December 2024, and in a intervention for the Q Code Magazine Podcast.

I spent long time in the city of Bhopal and explored far and wide the city, the neighbourhoods that have been hit by the gas cloud, forty years ago, and he site of the former Union Carbide Corporation chemical plant that caused the death of 25,000 people up to today…..

Palestine chronicles

Dina, Rami and their children, Mohamed, Asia and Fatima are a family from Gaza. I met them in a hostel in the old city of Jerusalem in the summer of 2023.

In the evening I used to sit at a table in the hostel reception to work on the photographs taken during the day. There we started to know each other and talk, with the help of an automatic translator or Fatima, who speaks a little English.

Gaza has been sieged for years, much before the beginning of the genocide started in October 2023, and since then no resident has been allowed to leave, except in exceptional cases.

Their exceptional case is the cancer that affects all the three children

Campaign for Gazan families

I opened a corwdfunding campaign toto support four families from Gaza  that I met in Jerusalem in summer 2023.

They are seventeen people who need daily support for their basic needs.

Furthermore, 6 of them are affected by severe diseases such as cancer and intestine chronic diseases and need their treatments to be resumed.

Follow the link to the campaign web page on GoFundMe, where you can donate and be updated about their situation.
